What is the difference between the Hall effect joysticks and the standard potentiometer joysticks?

Both options have their strengths. If you prioritize durability and precision and want to minimize the chance of joystick drift, the Hall Effect Sticks are an excellent choice. However, the original potentiometer sticks are also reliable because it will be used in combination with the DRIFIX module, which can also reduce joystick drift to a certain extent.

How to use the DRlFlX Module?

Step 1: Plug the PHANTOM controller into your PC using a data cable.

Step 2: Open the tester page on our website: www.hexgaming.com/pages/gamepadtester.

Step 3: Use our joystick calibration tool to align the joystick dot with the center of the circle as displayed.

Step 4: Once the joystick dot is aligned with the circular "+", the calibration process is completed.

How will the DRlFlX module work with the hall effect joysticks?

The DRIFIX module will not work with the hall effect joysticks. It is designed to address issues with the original potentiometer joysticks. For the hall effect joysticks, we will use a new calibration solution and provide a new calibration tool.
